Tutoring for Veterans

Veterans transitioning to civilan life and either beginning or returning to college often express anxiety about being prepared for academic life. Having been out of school for several years these veterans sometimes need to brush up on academic skills. The Friends of Veterans New York, in addition to awarding cash awards, would like to offer free tutoring services to veterans attending Queensborough Community College. While the Veterans Administration will help to defray the cost of tuition it does not pay for additional services such as tutoring, living expenses, and textbooks. Please donate so we can help veterans succeed with their education. One Hundred Percent (100%) of your donation will go to support our tutoring program.
Please help our veterans to succeed in their academic endeavors.

Friends of Veterans New York, is a public non-profit organization and has been granted 501(c)(3) status by the Internal Revenue Service (Tax ID 47- 2379392).
Your donation is tax deductible.
